Exchange creates the default discovery mailbox in the mailbox database of the first Exchange 2010 mailbox server that you deploy. This is an acceptable configuration for small deployments, but might prove problematic for larger organizations where the sheer volume of data uncovered by a discovery search could be very large in terms of the number of items and the size of the storage required. Storage should not be an issue because the default quota assigned to the discovery mailbox is 50 GB. However, you do have to remember that the mailbox server that holds the database where the discovery mailbox is located has to do a lot of work to copy items that are unearthed by a search. For example, if a search locates 10,000 items that occupy 6 GB, the server has to be able to accept the workload necessary to copy and store these items. The workload is composed of the CPU consumed during the search, the storage for the discovered items, and the transaction logs generated as the discovered items are created in the discovery mailbox. A search might be performed several times before the final information is captured and each time the server will be stressed. For this reason, you need to think about the following:

Note that not every Did Not Load Driver message necessarily indicates an error that would prevent Windows from booting, because many drivers are not required for Windows to start . To repair problems caused by problematic drivers when you can start safe mode, follow these steps:

Service Pack 1 includes several improvements for client throttling. In RTM code, the client that has been throttled will end up with failed requests. This can result in poor user experience.
